Contraceptive Care

Get all your contraceptive care in one place: the Naval Health Clinic Annapolis walk-in contraceptive clinic. All beneficiaries are eligible for care and counseling at walk-in contraceptive clinics and can receive education on safe sexual practices, contraceptives, and STI prevention and treatment. Services Offered

  • Pregnancy screening
  • Contraception counseling
  • Access to a full range of contraception methods for pregnancy prevention or menstrual suppression, including:
    • Short-acting reversible contraceptives (pill, patch, ring, Depo-Provera)
    • Hormonal and non-hormonal long-acting reversible contraceptives (Nexplanon, IUDs)
  • Natural family planning counseling
  • Permanent sterilization
  • Emergency contraception (which is also available over the counter at the pharmacy)
  • Education on menstrual suppression, which may assist active duty service members before deploying
  • Education on barrier contraception

How it works

Appointments aren't necessary for the walk-in contraceptive clinic. We see patients on a first-come, first-served basis.
