Referral Information
If you’re enrolled in a TRICARE PRIME plan, at some point you may need specialty care that your primary care manager (PCM) can’t provide. In that case, he or she may refer you to a specialty provider. You may need a referral and pre-authorization from your PCM to seek care from a specialty provider, depending on your TRICARE health plan.
Child-Related Policies
ID Cards for Children
All children 10 years of age and older are required to have a federal Identification Card (ID) card. We will give you a one-time authorization form that you can use for your visit today. Once you have received this authorization you are required to show your child's ID card within 30 days.
Non-Custodial Parent or Step Parent
