Women's Health & Pregnancy

Women's Health refers to comprehensive women’s health care as well as health issues that are unique to women, including:
  • Pregnancy
  • Menopause
  • Conditions of the Female Organs
Be sure to get early and regular prenatal care to ensure you have a healthy pregnancy. You should also get recommended breast cancer, cervical cancer, and bone density screenings.

Our goal is to ensure the health and readiness of all women at every stage of life.

We provide the following Women’s Health services at the Naval Health Clinic Annapolis
  • Cervical cancer screenings
  • Treatment of menopause
  • Treatment of conditions of the female organs
  • Contraceptive Counseling
  • Prescription and Refills
  • Birth Control Pills
  • Intrauterine Device (IUD) Insertion and removals
  • Depo-Provera
  • NEXPLANON insertions and removals
  • Emergency contraception (ParaGard Copper IUD, Ella, and Plan B-One step)

How to Make an Appointment

Call 1-855-227-6331 to make an appointment for Women's Health Services.

We do not provide Obstetric care at the Naval Health Clinic Annapolis.  We also do not offer all non-obstetric Women’s Health services.  For services not available here, we will refer you to a Military Treatment Facility that provides that service or to a TRICARE network provider.

Beginning November 15, 2022,  we will offer a same day walk-in clinic for family planning services that will provide immediate contraceptive access to all eligible female beneficiaries. Please see Contraceptive Clinic Heading below for more information pertaining to this service. 
  TRICARE covers well-woman exams annually for women under age 65 with no cost-share or copayment. TRICARE offers coverage for many women’s health services, including: For women who are age 65 and older and using TRICARE For Life, you can still get women’s preventive screenings. Get more information about these and other TRICARE covered services at: https://tricare.mil/coveredservices/isitcovered/.
